I have to agree with your doctors, MOST of these products are smoke and mirrors and simply do not work. Save your money, listen to your doctors, they are better trained in these matters than some random person on a website.

yeah ask a doctor for his advise before puchasing, i have used nature cleanse for a colon cleansing product though and it did work well for me. its not a lot of money you can get a free trial before you purchase a whole bottle but thats besides the point. You can read more on it here
